Privacy policy
ARDO respects the privacy of those who contact the production company or browse this website. This policy explains what data is collected, why, how long it is kept and what rights the data subject has.

ARDO is not required to appoint a data protection officer. For any matter relating to this policy, the contact address is [email protected].
2. What data is processed and for what purpose
2.1 Enquiries received through the contact form or by email
- Data: name, email address, subject and content of the message, and any other information the person voluntarily includes.
- Purpose: to deal with and respond to the enquiry, and to maintain any resulting communication.
- Legal basis: the data subject’s consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, where the enquiry concerns a possible commission or collaboration, the taking of pre-contractual steps (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Retention: for the handling of the enquiry and, once resolved, for the limitation period of any actions that may arise. If no relationship is established, the data is deleted.
Messages sent through the form are not stored in the website database: they are forwarded to ARDO’s email inbox, where they are kept for the periods indicated.
Providing the data marked as mandatory is necessary in order to reply. Without that data the request cannot be handled.
2.2 Professional, commercial and contractual relationships
- Data: identification and contact details, tax and billing details and information about the agreed service, of clients, suppliers, collaborators and artistic and technical crews.
- Purpose: to manage the contractual relationship, contracting and invoicing, and to comply with applicable legal obligations.
- Legal basis: the performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations in accounting, tax and employment matters (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
- Retention: for the duration of the relationship and, once ended, for the tax, accounting and commercial limitation periods established by law.
2.3 Images and audiovisual works published on the website
The site publishes photographs and excerpts of works in which identifiable people may appear.
- Purpose: to disseminate and document the audiovisual projects produced by or involving ARDO.
- Legal basis: the consent or assignment of image rights granted by the data subject in the context of each production, in accordance with Spanish Organic Law 1/1982, and the legitimate interest in disseminating the audiovisual work.
- Retention: for as long as the work remains published, without prejudice to the data subject’s right to withdraw consent on the agreed terms.
Anyone appearing in a published image may write to [email protected] to request its removal.
2.4 Browsing analytics
- Data: truncated IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, visit duration and visit source.
- Purpose: to understand, in aggregate form, how the website is used in order to improve its content and structure.
- Legal basis: the user’s consent, given through the cookie information system (art. 6.1.a GDPR). No measurement is activated without consent.
- Retention: according to the retention periods configured in the analytics tool, and for a maximum of twenty-four months from the visit.
This processing is carried out with Google Analytics. See section 5 on cookies.
3. Recipients of the data
The data is not disclosed to third parties, except where required by law or by a competent authority.
The following providers access the data as processors and solely in order to provide their services to ARDO:
- Website hosting, development and maintenance: Estudi Dadà, S.L. (Dadà Comunica), calle Bisbe Morgades 48, floor -1, 08500 Vic (Barcelona).
- Email and web analytics: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, as providers of the institutional email service and of Google Analytics.
- Tax and accounting advisers, for compliance with ARDO’s tax obligations.
International transfers. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer is made on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or of the standard contractual clauses approved by it, with any additional safeguards that may apply.
4. Automated decisions
ARDO does not make automated decisions or carry out profiling based on the data collected on this website.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored on the user’s device when they visit a web page and which makes it possible to remember information about them.
First-party technical cookies. Necessary for the operation of the site and for managing the session of registered users. They do not require consent and are always installed.
Third-party analytics cookies. Google Analytics makes it possible to measure the use of the website in aggregate form. They are only installed if the user expressly consents.
Third-party cookies from video players. Pages that embed videos from external platforms may install cookies from those providers when the content is played. These cookies are the responsibility of the respective providers and are governed by their policies.
Consent is requested through the cookie information system that appears when the site is first accessed, and can be withdrawn or modified at any time from that same system. The browser can also be configured to block or delete cookies already installed, although this may affect the operation of some parts of the site.
6. Rights of the data subject
Everyone has the right to:
- Access their personal data.
- Request the rectification of inaccurate data.
- Request its erasure when it is no longer necessary.
- Request the restriction of processing.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Rights are exercised by writing to [email protected], or by post to Carrer Besora, 7 – 08570 Torelló (Barcelona), stating the right to be exercised and enclosing a copy of an identity document.
If you consider that the processing does not comply with the rules, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid – www.aepd.es).
7. Security and confidentiality
ARDO applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of the data and prevent its alteration, loss or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of the art and the nature of the data processed.
The people involved in the processing are bound to maintain confidentiality, including after the relationship has ended.
8. Minors
This website is not aimed at children under the age of fourteen and does not intentionally collect data from this group. Where a minor’s participation in a production involves the processing of their data or image, the authorisation of the person holding parental authority or guardianship is requested.
9. Accuracy of the data
The person providing their data warrants that it is true and current and undertakes to notify any changes. Anyone providing data of third parties must have previously informed them of the content of this policy.
10. Versions in other languages
The original text of this policy is the one drafted in Catalan. Versions in other languages are published for information purposes and, in the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Catalan version prevails.
11. Amendments
This policy may be amended to adapt it to regulatory changes or to the services offered. We recommend consulting it periodically.
