The Quer\u00f3s bridge was under water in 1967, when the Susqueda swamp was built. The drought of recent years has brought it back to the surface, and for a few months it has been possible to cross it again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From there, the routes that passed through it, described by Artur Osona in 1893, are read aloud. A document about what water covers up and what its absence brings back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This project was carried out based on the review of a series of routes described in the “Guide to the Mountains of the Montseny Region with all its branches, including the Guilleries, that is, from the Ter to the Congost, Mogent and Tordera, divided into 144 itineraries”, (1893) Excursionista de Catalunya. The excursions worked on have in common the fact of crossing the Quer\u00f3s valley passing through the Quer\u00f3s bridge, a detail that was only possible before the construction of the Susqueda reservoir (1967). However, the persistent drought of the last year has brought to the surface the old bridge, which, overcoming the bed of the Ter river, still stands upright, connecting the two slopes of this steep valley. The lack of water has therefore made it possible to cross the Quer\u00f3s bridge again.
From there, we read the routes documented by Artur Osona that crossed it. Thus, we make an audiovisual document of an essay nature about the drought, the passage of time, erosion, hiking routes and the morphology of the Sau valley, determined by the Ter and its tributaries.
